Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my Samsung S22 Ultra. For about a year, I've been using a USB C - Jack adapter to be able to use "regular" headphones with my phone or to connect it and listen to music in my car. A little while ago, my adapter (cheap one) that was working very well broke. I bought another one, but it didn't work. I thought it was a product defect, so I bought a second one, but it doesn't work either.

When I connect it and plug in headphones, the phone indicates that it is connected via USB, and when I play music, the sound does not come through the headphones but from the speaker.

I updated my phone, but the problem doesn't seem to be there, and the adapters I bought work perfectly on another Samsung.

I don't know what to do; if anyone has any ideas to help me, I would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

I am answering my own question; a friend just gave me the solution.

He debugged the phone (several tutorials available online), then he followed these steps:

Settings > Developer options > Development options > Multimedia section > Disable audio routing.

I hope this can be useful to others.
