Black band at the bottom of the screen that crackles

Good evening everyone!

As you can see in the photo, there is a huge black band that flickers at the bottom of my screen. This only happens at 165Hz or 144Hz, but at 120Hz there are no problems. I tried connecting my screen via HDMI, but that didn't help. Having a dual screen setup, my other screen works perfectly fine. So, I don't know if it's a hardware or software issue, but it's extremely annoying, especially since it's a recent screen that has never been damaged or anything. Also worth noting, at first the screen only flickered at 165Hz and not at 144Hz; that came later. Finally, the longer it goes on, the bigger the black band gets. I'm asking for your help or expertise to try to fix this.

Thanks in advance :D

Band that extends from the bottom to about 1/4 of the screen

    Hello,

It's quite difficult to respond... without knowing what you're talking about here... no brand, no model, neither for the screen nor the PC... nor the version of Windows, nor the software used that's causing these problems... the functioning of technology isn't governed by a crystal ball... what connection is being used between the PC and the screen, other than HDMI...

In the meantime, use an image frequency of 120Hz if you don't want to burn everything out. The cause of your issues is most likely related to this image frequency that your screen can't support... There should be other conditions to meet...

You are probably still under warranty...? So what is the seller doing...? It's been less than two years that you've been dealing with this defect...?

      Hello,

I think I have the same problem as the person above who seems to have the same screen as me (I'm not very knowledgeable about PCs).

There have been black stripes at the bottom of the screen "iiyama G-master GB2770HSU 165Hz" for 2 weeks, which is a little over two years old. The higher I set the Hz, the worse it gets at "144Hz," and the lower I set it, the more it fades at "50 Hz." It is connected via DP. My second screen "iiyama G-master G2730HSU 75Hz" doesn't have any problems and is connected via HDMI.

I tested changing the cables and swapping the screens, but the issue persists.

I have also updated all the drivers; I'm a bit lost!

I don't know if it can help, but here's the rest of the PC:
