Hello,
I have a ViewSonic VX912 LCD screen (year 2005) that has a display (physical) issue with the image.
A grayish band appears at the bottom of the screen.
I should note that I have tested everything (another PC, cables, graphics card, display properties, etc.), and it is indeed a hardware problem related to the panel or the backlight, I believe.
The phenomenon is surprising as it is not permanent; sometimes (rarely) when I turn it on, the display is perfect. By applying pressure on one side or even directly on the screen, I can sometimes stabilize the clear display.
Any ideas? Is it a neon issue? Take a look at the following link:

Best regards.
