AsusRog won't start, LED light/keyboard blinking in a loop.
Spoink74 -
Hello,
I'm bringing up a topic about the Asus ROG laptop, encountered by an author who did not find a solution back in 2019. In my case, it's an Asus ROG Strix G553VD-DM307T.
"My Asus laptop (with a non-removable battery) was working perfectly well this morning, I left it in sleep mode and closed it, when I tried to turn it on I was faced with this:
- The screen remains black
- The fan does not turn on
- The power light works when I plug in the charger
- The bulb light and the keyboard light up when attempting to turn it on
- I hear a weird little "beep" (at the moment I would normally hear the fan turning on)
- And then everything turns off.
And it all starts over in a loop until I press and hold the power button and everything turns off."
I hadn't used it for a while and here I am in the same situation described by the author of the post.
One slight difference: when I unplug the power, the loop stops, and if I restart, it only does one iteration.
It’s worth noting that the last time I started it, it got stuck on the "Asus ROG" logo for ages and I had to cut it off after 30 minutes.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Well, I followed this somewhat complex tutorial and things are progressing:

The laptop no longer restarts in a loop, but it stays with the screen off, no boot screen and the light indicators (which is plugged in)/battery/airplane mode (?) are on, as well as the keyboard, the caps lock light remains on for only a few seconds
You can also hear the fan running
