Hello
For quite some time now, I've been trying to block spam emails on Zimbra
All the solutions I've found online have failed
The latest one;
Preferences
Spam options
I enter the address
Save
But it doesn't work, I've tried it for several days with 15 spam emails
Thank you for giving me your opinion

Hello,
What you have done is not enough: it blocks a specific email address.
In the case of real spam, the sending address changes very often. When you're lucky, there is a common part and blocking is relatively simple.
To be more effective, you need to create one (or more) filters.
This is done in Preferences > Filters.
You go there and click on New filter.
From there, the possibilities are numerous as you can see by looking at what the content of the different fields can be.
Here is an example of a basic filter that eliminates a not very nasty spam.

Once you have created your filter, click on Apply filter and choose a folder (the inbox, for example) where an unwanted message is located.
You will thus be able to check the proper functioning of the filter.
Warning! The choice Delete for the actions to be executed is irreversible. You need to be sure of your decision. Otherwise, put the messages in the trash.
What is well conceived is stated clearly,
And the words to say it come easily.

Good evening Pierr10, and thank you for your replies.
If I understood correctly, the filters block emails containing the mentioned word.
I looked through my last 10 emails, both normal and spam, but I didn't find anything that is only used in spam.
That's why I wanted to use what I was telling you at the beginning. You tell me that it blocks a specific email address. I tried testing with emails from valid addresses, but they were not blocked.
The two tutorials you mentioned on YouTube did not provide any more information.
Thank you for your help.
For the example I gave:
FROM corresponds to the sender's email address.
If this email address contains mygoodplan, the email is immediately rejected and in my case, it is destroyed.
(It is not the email that must contain mygoodplan, but the email address).
The result is that when the filter acts, I do not see the email and I do not even know that it was sent.
What is well understood is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.
