PS5 Detection Issue on TV
Theo -
Hello,
So, I'm having trouble with my TV (Samsung UE40N5300AK) when I connect my PS5.
When I use the original one-meter cable, it works; there's some flickering in the blacks, but it's playable and stable.
However, for my setup, I need a longer cable (ideally 6m). I tried a 4k 5m cable, and my TV doesn't detect the console (this cable works with my PC).
I bought a 7.5m UHD 8k 120fps 48Mbs cable thinking it was due to some relationship between bandwidth and length, but no better... PS5 not detected.
Whereas with the original HDMI cable (1m), it works fine. What did I miss?
I would love to hear your opinions and advice, hoping that no one will suggest getting an Xbox to solve the problem XD
Have a nice evening and a good weekend, thanks!

I couldn't edit my original message, so I'm doing it here:
After testing, I’ve determined against all odds that my cable has a specific orientation, which is not mentioned on the product or its packaging. There's one position in which it works every time and another where it never works.
However, the image isn't great, with white dots/pixels appearing and disappearing successively, and some purple lines as well; in short, it's not nice.
What could be causing this? I want to return the cable.
