Passage en mode économie d'énergie / power supply issue

Hello,

I recently got an old computer (Enermax EG301P-VB) that I tried to power on. The case starts up and the fans are working properly, but the message "entering power save mode" appears on my screen. I tried disassembling the components to clean everything, but that didn't change anything. I've also tried several screens, so I thought that the problem might be with the power supply. I then disassembled the power supply and tested all the voltages, and they were all good!

But something is bothering me, it's this brown paste around the blue capacitors. I would like to know if this is normal or if it could be related to the computer's inability to start?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

    Hello,

    Some glue?

And the ceramic capacitors, there's no juice in there.

Is the white piece a relay?

I would clean the dust before humidity causes a short circuit.

Did you do a Clear CMOS?

We can't see the entire PCB of the power supply, but I think it's a rectifier bridge; it's clearly faulty, the power supply needs to be replaced, even though it's not 100% certain that your problem is the cause.

    Hello,

Honestly, I don't know what the white piece corresponds to.

As for clearing the CMOS, I didn't do it "properly", I just removed the battery from the motherboard, which didn't change anything.

I'll try to clear the CMOS, and if that doesn't work, I'll change the power supply.

    Thank you for your advice.

    Have a good day.
