Hello,
I have a little (big) problem with my MSI laptop. When I unplug the power, the computer shuts down, even though I had never had this issue before. I checked the battery wear using the CPUID_HVMONITOR app, and it reports that my battery has a wear of 5%.
This means that the issue doesn’t come from my battery, which indicates it’s charged at 97%. I can't understand what's happening. Recently (about a month ago), I had to send my laptop for repair due to a keyboard issue, which they replaced, could there be a possible link? I didn't have any problems when I received it back, but since today, thunderstorms have been cutting the power at least once an hour, and I'm afraid of damaging it due to these abrupt shutdowns.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 70.0.3538.77

Hello,
does it not start on battery?
If you turn it off and unplug the power supply, does it start?
Is it possible for you to disconnect/reconnect the battery?
Try this (if you can disconnect the battery, do it, otherwise try anyway), turn it off and unplug it, then hold down the power button for 1 minute. -
He doesn't come back to life once the power is removed, I press it for 1 minute, 30 times, as for the battery, it's inside the computer that I have to dismantle myself, and I'm really not comfortable with that...
However, now when I turn it on it gives me this message that I've never seen before which I screenshot:
By the way, I'm really bad at computers, so I really have my limits when it comes to tinkering.-
It's not the .NET Framework, it has nothing to do with the problem.
As it is, we can't do much... I think it's a motherboard issue that may have occurred when the service center changed the keyboard, as it can't be related to the service center.
Do you know what else they changed besides the keyboard?
Do you have a hatch at the back that can be opened by unscrewing a few screws?
What's the model of the PC?
Unfortunately, I think only the service center will be able to do something...

My PC is a GT72R Dominator-Pro,
Well, in the estimate only the keyboard was changed, yes, there are four screws underneath, but I'm not sure I have a screwdriver somewhere, but anyway, I will call customer service tomorrow and send my computer back for another month... vdm.
Thanks anyway. -
Apparently, I'm a slacker. I would have left my computer plugged in for too long, without turning it off and just putting it in sleep mode. I left it off for a good hour, and during that time, it seems like it recharged and now works perfectly without the power supply. Nice.
