Zofoot refund request
Stephanie -
Hello
Following a sizing error, I requested the cancellation of my zofoot order. After various messages and a confirmation of the refund from their part, it has been 7 days and I haven't received anything. I'm starting to think that I will never be refunded.

Hello.
Everything has already been said here https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-37755558-site-zofoot
Chinese counterfeit site, information on the site https://whois.domaintools.com/zofoot.com
Beware of prices that are too low as they often hide counterfeits because let's face it, everything has a price.

a hello, a response, a thank you are always appreciated.
Zofoot does not provide any refunds. I had an issue with them, and they do not refund.
I am still battling with them.
They threaten to file a complaint when we raise a dispute with PayPal.
At one point, after several emails, they even ask you to stop writing to them.
Order placed at the end of October.
3 items ordered, only 1 received (the cheapest one, of course).
They refuse to listen!!!!!!.
Hello,
It is essential to research the reliability of websites before placing an order. The fact that they only accept returns for quality issues or delivery errors without mentioning the legal withdrawal period of 14 days is concerning.
To obtain your refund, I advise you to gather all the evidence showing that the site is not complying with the law and the exchanges you have had with them. Next, contact your bank advisor for advice on what to do in case of non-refund by the site.
In general, customers can obtain a refund from their own bank in certain specific situations, particularly in cases of fraud, scams, or non-delivery of goods or services paid for by credit card.
There are also issues that can arise during a purchase (product or service not received, defective or not as described, seller bankruptcy, etc.)
This often depends on the policies and guarantees offered by the issuing bank.
I hope you can resolve this situation quickly. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask. Good luck!
Hello Noirmagus,
Once again a response that seems to have been clearly taken from ChatGPT or another source, I invite you to quickly check this:

And don't forget, in your future interventions to clearly indicate at the beginning, end, or in the signature of your response that you have used artificial intelligence, with a mention like "Response generated with TOOL NAME".
Hello, baladur13
I have personally faced this kind of situation in the past. A few years ago, I was a victim of a scam on an online site. In that situation, the best course of action was to inform my bank, which was able to reimburse me.
My response is based on my research conducted on the Zofoot site, as well as on various other sites regarding consumer rights and my personal experience.
I am a public writer, I am well acquainted with this kind of situation.
Hello,
This is clearly a counterfeit site likely located outside of jurisdiction, lacking any contact information and disregarding all consumer protection measures of European law.
It goes without saying that, as you suggested, avoiding ordering from this site is obvious, but it's a bit too late.
As for the rest, no matter what you say or what not-so-smart artificial intelligences might tell you, the client has, despite your chatter, every reason to cry.
Hello,
In this situation, the best course of action was to inform my bank, which was able to reimburse me.
If it is a duly identified scam (unauthorized payment), the bank must reimburse.
If it is a purchase, the bank has nothing to say; it is up to the consumer to be vigilant.
In this case, it is not a fraudulent payment but rather a purchase on an unreliable site...
You keep digging yourself in deeper by always wanting to have the last word.
As blux pointed out, the bank or an insurance company has nothing to do with it and, even if a merchant did not explicitly state in their terms of sale that they are not obligated to exchange or refund due to a size error or any other reason not affecting the "quality" of the product; even if they did, they would bear the return costs at my expense, which is dissuasive if it is on the other side of the world.
The rest is just hot air: I have no means to invoke the right of withdrawal outside the EU against a merchant who does not wish to comply with it, and even less to compel them through legal means since, even if the costs involved would cover the expenses of a civil action, these people have voluntarily rendered themselves nonexistent, and we do not know which jurisdiction is competent and under what legal regime.
