Likes that disappear by themselves on Insta

Hello,

To give you some context: I follow two people on Insta who follow each other back. While browsing one of their accounts, I noticed that the likes left by the other on her photos were disappearing randomly from several of her posts. The likes on some photos remained, while others are no longer visible even though they were there until now, and the likes that no longer appear seem to have disappeared "at random," with some on recent photos and others on older ones. Could it be that the person receiving the likes has hidden/restricted the other, which would explain the disappearance of certain likes one after the other? But then, why are some still visible? Could it just be an Insta "bug"?

I hope I expressed myself well enough, thanks in advance for your responses.

Hello

Either it's a bug..., or the person in question used a third-party app... which is against Instagram's policies. If Instagram notices, the actions taken with the third-party app are deleted (and the profile is temporarily blocked in the process).
