Blower fan graphics card? Interesting or not?

Hello,

I need to build a gaming PC on a pretty tight budget, starting with used parts.

The cheapest graphics cards are often the small models or blower fans.

Here's my question:

I found 1080s and 2080 supers with blower fans, these cards probably come from pre-built PCs, I believe the 2080s is from an Alienware. The card I’m most interested in is the 2080s because it has a very good price, but I’m worried that the performance might not measure up because of the cooling or that it will be very noisy, which would bother me quite a bit.

    The term "blowers fan" is not used in PC computing.

    The cooling of graphics cards is passive (fanless) or active.

    Water cooling is not commonly used for GPUs, as the surface of the dies is not suitable, especially since the GDDR and the power stages of high-end graphics cards also require effective cooling.

    So in the end, what is your exact question and budget❓️

      And my question is; will it be noisy compared to a standard card? If so, is there a big difference?

      Because in the past I had a card of this kind and it was way too noisy.

These are often integration models or, for example, manufacturers directly affiliated with NVIDIA like PNY, which follow the specifications to the letter.

    Other manufacturers like MSI, ASUS, and their peers change this system, which is too underperforming and indeed noisy, especially if the case is poorly ventilated. To be avoided. But it's true that it is at a reasonable price.

      In your opinion, is it better to wait and buy a good edition for 220-250€?
