Hello,
I installed an external Asus graphics card thanks to an EXP GDC. I don’t understand why, after several restarts, the card is still not detected and the Nvidia drivers won’t install. I am currently on an ACER E5-774G and my BIOS is incomplete.

Yes, I have one; it's the Wi-Fi card slot that I removed and replaced with an M2 to PCI-E adapter. I also have a SATA port.
Are you sure the PCIe cable doesn't fit in the Wi-Fi card port?
I saw a teardown video of a PC from the same series (E5 774G), and the Wi-Fi card does seem to be in NGFF format, but the port looks like a mini PCIe.
I have the impression that the Wi-Fi card is smaller than the port:

On a a laptop, it's possible; there are very few settings in the BIOS of laptops. I've looked more closely at the installation of this system, and there is indeed the PXE Boot to LAN setting to disable in the BIOS. So what tabs do you have in the BIOS, and what are their settings (if you can post photos, it will be clearer)?
Does your NGFF adapter take up the entire slot or just part of it, like the Wi-Fi card?

My Acer Aspire E17 E5-774G didn’t have a mini PCI-E port, so I bought an NGFF to mini PCI-E adapter. I have an ASUS DUAL GeForce GTX 1060. Everything is properly connected; when I turn on my PC, the power supply and the card start up, the EXP GDC lights up green, but in the device manager, there is no trace of this card, not even unrecognized. I already have a 950M; when I disable it and restart the PC, still nothing.
Do you have any idea?
I couldn't find a computer of your model that is listed with an M.2 port; I wanted to check if it's not just SATA.
I already don't know if an M.2 PCIe can support video; if it's SATA, then I don't think it's possible at all since the bandwidth isn't sufficient, that may be the problem.
In your computer, do you not have a Wi-Fi card plugged into a mini-PCIe? Generally, with this system, we remove the Wi-Fi card to put in the graphics card.
We mustn't forget that even if this type of system works, it's still a workaround; it's not something that's approved.
