Facebook Profile Options
Suhana -
Hello,
Recently, I can no longer see the public content of a person named "xy" whom I am not friends with. Previously, it said: add as a friend and send a message, but for a few days now it has said "options" and nothing else, just their profile picture, the cover photo is not visible, I still see the mutual friend we share, but I can’t see anything else. However, from a friend's account, I can still see the public content of "xy" and I can also invite them as a friend. Does anyone have an answer??? I don't think I've been blocked; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to see them at all.

There are so many settings that can be modified.
Notably who can see: "friends and their friends" or "friends only," "except" on old posts or new ones.
There are plenty of tips to "protect your private data" as well, sometimes with "quickly" which will cut off many people at once from being able to see or become friends if we don't meet in another discussion place where we can ask the person to grant us access.
All this without "individually blocking" people, but based on the criteria of "protecting this personal data" and the randomness of previous interactions that determine why one remains and the other is not a "close" one, whether a button stays or disappears.
We have a mutual friend for a long time and I haven't seen anything for a few days, however from my partner's account, I can see the account as before.
