Hide friend requests on Facebook profile Solved

Hello,

There used to be an option on Facebook that allowed the addition of new friends to not appear on one's profile. But I just noticed that the addition of new friends is showing up on my profile again, and I can’t find an option to disable this visibility.

It prevents people from seeing who I add as friends... and it looks cleaner on the profile too.

Do you know if it’s still possible to hide this friend addition on one’s profile?

Configuration: Windows 7 Firefox 3.5.6

Try this: personal history, then in the left list: friends (if not visible, there is an item "more"); then at the top right, after who can see your friends list, the second icon opens an area "Friend activity can show up in" with the option "New friends report"

Unchecking it should achieve the desired effect. Not tested yet (no new friends at the moment)

You can hide your friends list, it's pretty radical, no one can see who you have as friends (except for mutual friends) and who you've just added too!

To do this:
Privacy settings > Basic information - click on "Show settings" > View my friends list - choose the setting that suits you.

I don't know if it's the only way.

Hello, even though the topic is old, I'm still responding.

Indeed, if you hide your friend list on Facebook, no one will see any activity concerning your friends and you. This means that if you add a new friend or someone adds you on Facebook, no one will see that. Unless it's a mutual friend.
