Facebook profile without message and friend request options

Hello,

on certain Facebook profiles, I only have the option tab grayed out and this is the case with the different profiles I use, and I can't see the cover photo. Could someone explain this to me, please? Thank you in advance.

    Hello

    Their cover photo is not public or they don't have one.

    Regarding the inability to add them as a friend or send a message, it's the same; the option is not public and/or you don't have any mutual friends.

      Thank you for your answer. But actually, I have my profile where we have a mutual friend and it displays the same way. Moreover, when I ask a friend to check their profile, who doesn't have a mutual friend, they can see their cover photo and have the option to message them, while I can't, just like in the photo.
