My 1TB Crucial M.2 SSD is overheating.

Hello,

Currently, my gaming PC has an SSD and an HDD, and I notice that the temperature of the SSD often rises to 40 degrees and goes up to 50-52 degrees while running a game, even though the game is installed on the HDD. I have cleaned and defragmented, but nothing changes. Do you have any answers?

    Hello,

    I guess Windows is installed on the SSD... The games installed elsewhere, on any disk, run the operating system on the disk with the OS and without moderation; so it heats up as a result...

    Furthermore, SSDs heat up quite a bit, that's why they are raised from the motherboard, and some even have a heatsink... But 50° is nothing too serious..

    You can read the manufacturer's data sheet, with the specific reference for this SSD, and you will see what its operating temperature range is..

      Ok thanks, I checked and they indicate that it can range from 0 degrees to 70 degrees.
