Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. How does it work here? Can someone help me with the problem of my Bose 700 electronic board? The indicator lights are not working. I've changed the power capacitor and I was wondering where the melted varnish on the board comes from?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Regarding your issue with the electronic board, it's possible that the melted varnish is due to overheating. This can be caused by prolonged use, poor ventilation, or an electrical surge. It's important to carefully check the connections and ensure that the system is properly ventilated.

As for your Bose 700 subwoofer, if changing the capacitor didn't resolve the issue, there may be another faulty component on the electronic board. It can be difficult to diagnose the problem precisely without access to the board, but if you have knowledge of electronics, you might try checking the other components and circuits.

If you don't feel comfortable with electronics, it may be best to contact a specialist repair technician for audio equipment, who can diagnose and fix the problem for you.

Jorislopez, Hello and thank you for your response. Although I am not very active on the forum, I continue my little research. Indeed, the board overheated via the transformer; the yellow part that you see on the board, the colored varnish is a product used on the back side (soldering) to prevent oxidation. As for the transformer CQC M5-155(f)HL1723. WE 750343189, I can't find any information regarding the input and output power to replace it. The 11 input and output pins???? Looking forward to hearing from you again.
