Google recurring alert: exceptional traffic on the network

Hello,
For some time now, almost every time I search on Google (Chrome or Firefox), I get this recurring message before the search results: "I am not a robot - reCAPTCHA - About this page Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page is used to verify that it is you making requests, not a robot. What happened?" It is followed by an IP address, the time of the search, and the URL.
I'm on Mac and my girlfriend has the same problem. She is also on Mac.
OS version: 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a)
I quickly checked for viruses with CleanMyMac, but 0 malware detected.
I also tested MalwareBytes and found nothing.
If anyone can help me, I'm a bit panicked since it affects the whole network (my girlfriend and me) :(
Thx!

Hello,
No VPN on the machines?
Can you try using a hotspot?
Can you try on Safari?
You mentioned: I quickly did a virus check with CleanMyMac. It's useless because it won't find anything,
MalwareBytes is better, less resource-hungry and less intrusive

Hi Gab1!
Thanks for your response.
Indeed, I have a VPN on the Mac, Nord VPN to be specific.
I haven't used the VPN this week and I haven't had any problems.
However, what still bothers me is that my girlfriend's Mac was also affected by this issue, even though she doesn't have and doesn't use a VPN.
Great, thanks for the info on CleanMyMac and MalwareBytes ;)
Have a nice day!

Hey,
take a look here on your girlfriend's Mac
Apple menu , System Preferences, then click on VPN
in the sidebar. You may need to scroll down the page and see if anything is activated without your permission or inadvertently
