Hello friends,

I want to start by saying that I NEVER engage in illegal downloads, and I do not visit illegal streaming sites.

However, when I watch movies and shows on the (legal) "WWE Network" and "Amazon Prime Videos" sites, my Bitdefender anti-tracker blocks THOUSANDS of tracking attempts from akamaized.net.

Also, my Bitdefender antivirus seems to be behaving differently than before. Normally, I receive a notification every time an application connects to the internet, but I haven't received any for the last three days.

Before you suggest it, I contacted Bitdefender customer service, and they told me that as long as no "harmful" elements are detected during a complete system scan, there is no need to worry.

I'm stressed because I feel like I have "crud" attacking my PC.

(I also tested AdwCleaner, and it doesn't find anything).

    Hello,

    akamaized.net is a legitimate address, you’re worrying for nothing about that.

      But you will understand that THOUSANDS of attempts while I am (legally) watching a video or a movie is frightening at first glance.
