Copy my photos to my (empty) gallery

Hello,
Equipment: SAMSUNG Galaxy A53 5G
Problem: When moving my photos from Recent to Album, the photo should no longer appear in Recent.
The system does not distinguish between COPY or MOVE.
So my photos are duplicated on my phone!
If I delete the photo from Recent, it is also deleted from the album! So I have to recover it from the recycle bin.
How can I fix this setting issue?
Thank you for your help

Hello Pierr10,
First of all, thank you for your help.
My history: I replaced my old phone (broken)
A71 with the A53 since the beginning of the year.
Since then, it's been a hassle managing my photos.
The A53 has by default for managing my photos, 3 icons:
1- camera
2- photo icon (propeller: red, blue, green, yellow)
3- Gallery, containing photos by dates, Albums: Recent (all my photos grouped) + creating 25 categories
5- Stories
So I'm unable to move my photos from Recent to my Album without creating a duplicate, meaning the image stays in Recent!
Hope I have clarified my problem.

Hello,
The photo icon (colored propeller) is that of Google Photos. It's about managing the photos that are in Google's cloud. We don't handle it, as it's outside the smartphone.
Stories: I don't see what it is, but I think it's related to Google Photos, unless it's part of the Gallery.
What's important is the Gallery.
It's an image manager and not a storage place. The Gallery manages all the images that are on the smartphone, regardless of where they're stored.
In the Gallery, you generally have, upon opening, the display of Photos. It's a somewhat general term, and you have all kinds of images, including drawings.
If you want a more refined display, you need to go into the albums where there's a classification: Camera, Downloads, WhatsApp, etc.
The album that is causing you trouble is Recent where you find a bit of everything. It's sort of a summary of what you have seen. So it doesn't make sense to move a photo from Recent. It will inevitably remain in Recent!
What you need to understand well is that albums are just a presentation of the images present on the smartphone: If a photo is in both Recent and in the Downloads album, it doesn't mean that it is duplicated on the smartphone (and therefore takes up double the space).
If you delete a photo from an album (including Recent), that photo disappears from the smartphone.
What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Pierr10,
For your information, I had the opportunity to visit my ORANGE store, and they confirmed that in my GALLERY, RECENT (on the left) corresponds to the total number of saved photos.
When you move a photo from RECENT to create an ALBUM, the image will not be deducted from RECENT.
I hope my explanations are clear.
I think my problem is solved.
Thank you again, Pierr10, for your help.
Best regards,

They confirm what I told you in <4> in another way:
The album you have a problem with is Recent where you'll find a bit of everything. It's somewhat of a recap of what you've seen. So it doesn't make sense to move a photo from Recent. It will inevitably remain in Recent! If you want to know where a photo is actually located, click on the photo to display it in larger size and then click at the bottom on the 3 little dots to find Details.
You will find different information, including the location on the smartphone (for example /SD card/DCIM/Camera)
Have a good evening!
Pierr10,
Thank you for all this information.
It's a bit technical for me, but I will practice with the different transactions.
On my old port A71 I didn't have these issues.
Thanks again, have a good evening.

Hello,
Which album are you talking about?
On Samsung devices, the photo manager is the Gallery. In the gallery, there are categories called albums. A photo can very well appear in 2 or 3 different albums.
I feel like your problem comes from confusing libraries (albums) with the actual storage locations of the files.
Provide a bit more detail so we can help you.
