Printer driver installation

Hello everyone!
The question has already been asked, but the answers provided didn't help me at all...
I have a Canon Pixma MG 2550S printer, and I just bought a laptop (Acer Aspire).
The computer didn't automatically recognize the printer. I went to Canon's website to download the drivers, but they only offer drivers for the MG2500 and MG 2500S models. I still tried to install them, but it didn't work. I also searched other websites and can't find anything.
Could there be an incompatibility between my computer and the printer (in which case it's a looooose)? -_-
If anyone has a solution, I'm all ears... :)
Have a nice day everyone!

re
W11 family...
ok
I don't know if it makes a difference
if you connected the USB cable to the PC without installing the drivers from the manufacturer's website ==> click here
Windows installs generic drivers, and it is possible that you do not have access to certain features of the printer
let me know if you connected the printer to the PC

I called a Canon technician (why didn't I do this earlier!). He had me uninstall the printer names that were originally installed on my laptop (which I just bought). Then he had me reinstall the MG2500 driver (which includes the MG2500S, MG 2550, MG 2550S, MG2540 references, etc.), and it works!!
A big thank you for your responsiveness :)
