Hello,

I have these 2 Beolab 6000 speakers and I would like to test them? But I have neither a B&O remote control nor a B&O turntable, what should I do? I have a Rotel cassette deck.

And a Rotel vinyl turntable.

Thank you

    Hello,

For the connection, see the manual on page 5

    The manual: http://lgenevet.free.fr/userguide/ug_bolab6000.pdf

For the LG television, which model?

I would like to test the speakers?

      With an amplifier?

      Thank you

These are active speakers; the line output of the Rotel tape deck should be sufficient.

Or any other audio source such as a mobile phone.

      And for the volume?

Turn the sound up - louder or + louder.

    Nothing is ever simple.

The Beolab 6000 manual says that when you don't have the original cables, you should use the RCA input.

This is a test to see if the speakers work, so either:
    - Connect the phone with a jack/RCA cable, one RCA plug to the right speaker and the other to the left speaker, and adjust the volume with the phone.

    - Use an RCA/RCA cable connected to the Line OUT of the cassette player, and on the speaker side, one plug to the right Beolab and the other to the left Beolab. I don't think it's possible to adjust the volume.
So it might make a lot of noise....

It's better to try with the phone.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your patience,

''We connect the phone with a jack/RCA cable''

I didn't quite understand the jack cable, do I connect it to the speaker?

Which device has a jack input? The phone or the speaker?

Phones all have a jack output to connect headphones, and the pictures of the speaker show an RCA input.

So the answer seems obvious to me...

More than obvious answer, thank you, I tested with a phone and one speaker works less well than the other

    Thank you
