The Beolab 6000 are 8 ohm passive speakers.
The Beogram 5500 is a simple turntable with a pre-amplified stereo output...
Without an amplifier between the two, it won't work.

Not so simple, these speakers need to be connected to the "Beomaster/Beovision" with a specific cable provided with 8-pin DIN connectors....
