    Hello,
The Beolab 6000 are 8 ohm passive speakers.
The Beogram 5500 is a simple turntable with a pre-amplified stereo output...
Without an amplifier between the two, it won't work.

My sincere apologies, they are amplified...
Here is the service manual with a diagram

        The same for the board

But in my opinion, it won't be easy to make it work... without the amplifier that was supposed to exist originally.

Hello, your links are not working....
Not so simple, these speakers need to be connected to the "Beomaster/Beovision" with a specific cable provided with 8-pin DIN connectors....
So not obvious, information found here:

      Thank you Andy
Here's where I downloaded the "service manuals" for this B&O equipment
      Service manual B6000
      https://beomanuals.com/manuals/Beolab/Beolab%206000/
      Service manual B5500
      https://beomanuals.com/manuals/Beogram/Beogram%205500/
Indeed, 8-pin DIN connectors with information transmitted by the Beomaster part....

It's not easy...unless you "get your hands dirty" to make them passive so they can be connected to any amplifier.
