Number 064462 what does it correspond to?
SolvedSxdnessmoon -
Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me what these numbers correspond to, please?
06 44 62 02 xx
06 44 62 07 xx
06 44 62 06 xx
When I call, it rings, but it seems to me that there is no ringtone. I'm thinking of special numbers, but what are they related to?
I searched online but couldn't find anything interesting.
Thank you

Hello Caroline
Thank you for your response!
You did well to persist in your search. Now things are clear and undeniable. The numbers you provided in the initial message are indeed linked to coco.
I hope you were able to make your son understand that coco is not real life; just a highly questionable site that he should avoid.
Have a nice day!
What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello
When I call, it connects but it seems to me that there is no ringing. I think of special numbers.
Indeed, there are call services for commercial reasons or others that we cannot call back; they must have cut access in the opposite direction by some means instead of a voicemail, it disconnects before even ringing, it's doable.
Regarding the numbers you provide, we can already find out by the first 4 digits or even more precisely by the first 6 digits which operator assigns these numbers; it seems that Transatel manages and assigns the 06 44 62, we just need to find out to whom and when your numbers were used.

Then there are dozens of reverse directory type sites where we can report problematic numbers; you can always check if your numbers have been reported on these sites. While keeping in mind that people with shady activities often change numbers, the current user is not responsible for past activities before them.

There remains a technical problem; 2 days ago after 3 rings I picked up and my phone stopped working but my correspondent heard me answer.
After unplugging and plugging back in my box, everything worked again but internet had not been affected for the computer.
This is an example to illustrate; I am not with Transatel.
Transatel has very many activities including 200 virtual mobile operators, as much as looking for a needle in a haystack.

Thank you for your quick response.
Actually, I received my son's phone bill, and I saw these suspicious numbers he sent texts to and I assume received texts from (there were no calls). These numbers seemed strange to me.
I asked him what it was about... he replied that he couldn't remember ???????????? my curiosity was piqued as a result, so I sought to find out more.
I checked various sites that couldn't find anything. I saw that some sites could provide an answer for a fee, but I don't know if it's reliable.
Well... I have a little idea about these numbers, if that's the case... let's just say that youth must be lived???? but despite all this, it annoys me not to know ????
Good evening,
I found it, I get obsessed when something bothers me...
So just for your information, these numbers are from a dating site called "Coco". This site sends a code that you need to reply to via SMS, and each time this number starts with 06.44.62... the other digits change each time.
There, it’s resolved ????
Thank you
You were right to be concerned. Do some research to find out what it's about. For example, you can find:
https://fr.trustpilot.com/review/coco.fr
https://www.madintouch.com/avis-coco-chat-dangereux-arnaque-coconut/
https://stat-rencontres.fr/site-de-rencontre/coco-avis/
If that's not enough for you, search this forum for messages about coco. There are plenty!
As for the next steps, it's up to you to decide.
some sites could provide an answer for a fee
Uh, if it's just to respond for a fee, they won't find anything more...
In theory, "data privacy protection" and especially "the correspondence of individuals regardless of their age" is a bit more protected; a site or a company should not be able to exceed certain limits, hence they should not have access rights greater than yours without risking the wrath of institutions. It's reserved for public authorities, meaning "judicial police", and only "upon court order".
That's what I know about the subject for now.
Another member may know more and provide more info.
Hello,
Since January 1st, numbers starting with 06 and 07 are reserved for individuals. So these are certainly not special numbers.
If your operator allows it, block incoming and outgoing communications to the numbers 064462**** using the wildcard characters *. (This is possible with Free Mobile and probably with other operators).
If your son doesn't remember these numbers, it shouldn't bother him!
What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to express it come easily.

Hello,
In theory, numbers 06 and 07 can now only be assigned to individuals, but nothing prevents a scheme where the calling number is disguised as another.
Unless you search for such a number on Google, where some sites might provide the caller's return information (but not necessarily its nature, as "the caller" sometimes "calls" into the void and does not always identify themselves as such a soup seller), to my knowledge, there is no reverse directory for mobile numbers, and even if one existed, individuals would only appear there at their discretion.
Furthermore, no range of numbers or specific number is reserved for a particular "organization," so we have no way of knowing that a certain scoundrel bought, say, 100 numbers in the 0644 range.
Now, if for instance, 06.44.xx hides 064.yy, we are in Belgium, but that doesn't help the situation.
The problem mentioned about outgoing numbers belonging to others is one thing, and in fact, no one should know except in the situation mentioned (premium-rate calls, minor callers), as for incoming calls, I block several every day, as well as fraudulent texts, I don't even bother to find out who it is. In any case, for the people who genuinely want to reach me in my absence, I have, like everyone else, a voicemail.

Hello, how can the numbers be linked to coco?
