Hello,

For the past two days, I haven't been able to access my emails with Thunderbird.

Message: the server imap.free.fr has been disconnected + password request?

After several searches online, I couldn't find a solution to resolve the issue. Alongside this problem, I also can't connect through Zimbra. Is there a causal link?

Can you provide me with an effective solution to this/these problem(s)?

Thank you for your response.

Sincerely,

Raymond

Hello,

If there is no access with a local email client (Thunderbird), nor with the Zimbra Free webmail (https://zimbra.free.fr/)
the first assumption is that the password is incorrect, the second that the account does not exist anymore.

The password has been changed??? You should go through the internet subscription, on the homepage of the subscriber area, see My emails / Manage My emails / lost password and you will be offered to reset the password.

Hello

Since 28/12/2025, I can no longer access my FREE email inbox.

A message tells me to check the username and my password.

I’ve tried many ways but nothing changes, only empty promises.

After phone calls where I only receive promises, nothing changes.

Hello,

Instead of reopening an old discussion, you’d be better off creating your own topic, providing a bit more detail.
The issues in 2026 are certainly not the same as in 2023.

I am therefore closing this topic and invite you to ask a new question on this forum.
