Hello,

I bought an XP-2200 to replace the XP-205 and I have the same problem; it flickers on power-up from the very first power-up and I can't do anything.

Hello,

It is not uncommon for Epson that the drivers (either from a CD, if there is one, or downloaded) must be installed using the programs provided by Epson even before connecting the printer for it to be recognized; this is, in any case, essential for the scanner if there is one.

Hello,

Download this driver --> XP-2200

Disconnect the printer cable from the PC
Run the setup.exe of the driver --> epson649702eu.exe
Connect the cable to the PC as soon as prompted

A printer is a peripheral device; it is the installation of drivers that allows it to communicate with a PC.

I can't manage to get the installation right, the printer is still flashing. Where can I find a tutorial that outlines the steps to take in chronological order? Thank you

Hello,

I found out why the lights are flashing: during the setup, it says to remove all the stickers, and I had forgotten one! It's better this way.

So, you bought two printers and each time you didn't unpack it properly before using it!

Can you send me one of the extra printers? ((:-))

Hello,

I was able to unpack the printer correctly but I have another issue: I can't install the software properly to use it, every time I print a test page it doesn't work. I have a Windows 11 PC, I'm being suggested to use epson.sn/2200, everything seems to be going fine but the test page won't print. I have a wifi connection.
