Hello,
I would like to know if anyone has ever tried to refill the cartridges of an Epson XP 2200 printer;
Apparently there are no compatible cartridges for this model
Thank you for your replies

Hello,
So... that's not how it works... You shouldn't refill the manufacturer's cartridges. They're clever and protect themselves against these activities that hurt their business... The inside of these cartridges has a double skin that you pierce for refilling; then the ink flows and spreads into the machine, in the end, it's ruined, you have to buy another one... That's the deal with refilling... Some still manage it with a bit of luck... You also have to change the chip, which is not included in simple refilling...
The solution is to buy refillable cartridges at https://www.encre-phoenix.com/43-cartouches-rechargeables
for example... You need the reference indicated on the cartridges (I think it's "604XL pineapple series" to be verified)
The ink is sold in 100ml/l bottles... normally these cartridges are equipped with a resettable chip and contain more ink... Let's say you buy this kit for the price of one cartridge from the manufacturer... and you can refill it 7 to 8 times... Even 10 times depending on the capacity. Moral of the story, it's almost 10 times cheaper..!!
There's a downside... it's quite messy... so you need a spot to do this, old clothes, and to use the gloves provided... it's up to you to decide
