The microphone of my headset is not detected.

Hello,

I have a problem, I have a headset, and it is not detected by Windows, at least my headset is recognized but not my microphone which is connected to my headset. Usually, I would get a pop-up asking if I wanted to use my device as headphones, headset, or microphone...

However, recently I reinstalled Windows on my computer and since then there's no pop-up and my headset is just detected as a headset without a microphone.

Here’s my equipment:

- Computer: Predator Helios 300 PH315-53

- Headset: GSP 500

- OS: Windows 10 Home

    Hello,

I found the solution, so for those who have the same problem as I do and have a Realtek sound card, you need to type *Realtek audio console* in your Windows search bar. Once in the application, find your device, click on it, then at the bottom there is *Device advanced settings*, click on that as well, and then you choose how you want your device to be recognized.
