No name, or change name at Windows startup?

Hello,
When I turn on my PC, my email address that I used to register with Microsoft appears as my name.
But I don't want that name.
How can I change it?

Hello, to change the username associated with your Microsoft account, simply follow these steps:
-
Open your account settings by clicking on the "Start" button and then selecting the "Settings" option (or by pressing the "Windows + I" keys at the same time).
-
In the window that opens, click on "Accounts" and then on "Microsoft Account".
-
Click on "Your account information" and then on "Edit personal information".
-
In the "Username" section, click on "Edit" and then enter the new username you wish to use.
-
Click "Save" to save the changes.

Hello,
You no longer want your address on the password home screen but your name instead?

I am the only one using the computer, I would prefer not to have a name and not even a password.
At worst: change my email address to my first name -

Hello,
@cengokill StatusMember
If you can show us with screenshots, because I don't understand everything:
In the window that opens, click on "Accounts" then on "Microsoft Account". Click on "Your account information" then on "Edit personal information". In the "Username" section, click "Edit" then enter the new username you want to use.

In the associated settings --► Accounts (Manage my accounts)
After logging into your Microsoft account

Microsoft has completely messed everything up!!!
I think it can be done from the "Profiles" registry key.The only condition is to create an Administrator or Super Administrator account, because if you perform the procedure which is very complicated, you will get a black screen at the login screen and won't be able to go any further, except for reinstalling Windows.
And Microsoft only allows the first 5 letters.
It's pretty tough!

I don’t have the same thing, I’m on W11.
I’m going to "try"…..to create another account

Changing the email address on the login screen is complicated.
But maybe, I haven't tried, it's easier to change the username.I wouldn't risk it for now with W11.
It's the PC restart after the manipulation that is scary!
It's this ==► procedure
