Galaxy S20 FE 5G - Network issue

Hello,

I just got a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G and I've noticed that the number of signal bars is quite low. Half the bars in some places while my old phone is at max without any issues.

Moreover, I feel like the 4G, 4G+, and 5G speeds are pretty average (Free but still).

Is there anyone with the same phone or has anyone encountered this kind of problem before?

Thanks!

Hello,

If you force in LTE/4G, do you have the same level?

And there you go, that's it....

But misery, how annoying the line spacing is!!

Bad frequency band used ....

It's possible, but your mobile is supposed to use the best one for it; after all, you can't configure beyond 3/4/5G.

After that, it's the mobile operator who decides.

Well, for this specific mobile, you're the tester; we're not going to buy one just to test it for you, which would be pointless anyway, because it's specifically related to the location where you are, so tests elsewhere make no sense.

That's why I'm asking in the first post if anyone has the same device as mine, since it seems to be a common issue for all the phones in this range. I'd like to make sure of that.

I don't need to test elsewhere since the result is unanimous where I am. When I put my SIM card in other phones, the network is twice as good.

If someone has this phone and can give me their feedback, I would appreciate it!

Thank you ♥

Afterwards,

the bars are one thing, the real signal is another, there are apps to measure that for example network cell info

Indeed, the tests on all my phones give the same result in -DBM (around -100). Despite that, one has 5 bars out of 5 and my Samsung has 2 out of 4, it’s surprising!

Could it be due to the Free network?

Thank you

Band 7, so 2600 MHz, you're lucky to catch some at Free :-)

In the full version, it directly displays the frequency band.

Hello,

I couldn't solve the problem. No matter the location, the network was very poor.

It's an issue related to the phone model...

So I changed my phone.

Hello,

Same for us... poor reception of messages, calls... are there any settings to change?
