A PS5 on 2 Screens?

Hello,

I would like to have my PS5 on 2 screens so that I can play either in my living room or in another room where I have a second TV: the first is an LG LED and the second is also an LG OLED...

I've heard about an HDMI splitter that would do the job...

Have you ever tested this solution and which splitter would be the best?

Thank you in advance

    So before a friend with a PS5, I have 2 questions,

    Why 2 screens on a PS5?

Just an HDMI splitter exists but I don't know if it works on PS5 (I know that the XBOX has 2 HDMI ports for capturing the screen which, when hacked, can be used as a video output)

    But for PS5, I don't think so

    Goodbye :!

    Hello,

Thank you for your response. I have my PS5 in my bedroom where I play most often, and on the other side of the wall, I have my living room.

I usually play in my bedroom, but when I have friends over, I would prefer to be able to play in my living room with a couch, etc. This is to answer your question...

I didn't think it would be so difficult to find a device that switches the console from one screen to another, especially since the wall between the two rooms is already drilled.

Sony could have included 2 HDMI ports on their console...

      Hello,

I think that technically an HDMI switch should be able to work since it allows splitting the HDMI signal into 2. Basically, 1 input to 2 outputs. You'll have to choose which output to send the signal to.

Sony could have foreseen 2 HDMI ports on their console...

They have no interest in doing that since consoles don't benefit from dual screens like a PC does, for example.

With an HDMI Switch it will work, but be careful with the wireless controllers. Not sure the controllers will work well with the console in the bedroom in your living room...
