I have a Samsung UN55RU7400FXZC television that I've had for two and a half years. When we turn on the TV, we notice a thin horizontal line that has appeared. From a distance, it looks like a white line, but up close we see about three lines in different colors. Samsung told us that the warranty is only for one year. We performed the self-diagnostic test in the settings/Tech Support. It was a failure.

    dead pixel in my opinion
    I don't think it will be covered under warranty,

    no solution except changing the ribbon cable I think

    Here in France, the manufacturer warranties have been for two years for everything for quite some time now.

    From a distance, I think the defect is in the panel... in my opinion.
