Unlimited satellite 4040 no WiFi signal detected.

Hello,

I have an unlimited 4040 satellite and my problem is that the WiFi signal is not being detected: it recognizes a USB key in both USB ports without any problem

but it fails to detect the WiFi signal with a WiFi key in either of these USB ports, the key is not defective,

an installer tested it with his own WiFi key in both USB ports; and still no WiFi signal is detected.

Ah..! yes, very well, so it's a satellite TV receiver that seems to be FTA only.... so if it receives encrypted channels, it must have been flashed...

I don't see what the Wifi is doing in this..?? and what it's communicating with..??

Yes, but with what..? I suppose it's with the BOX to exchange data via the net in real time or almost with a shared database...

The drivers; it's not easy, especially since the activity must be targeted, even shot down, by those demanding the bundled subscriptions..!
