Hello,

"s power down menu key cancel"
A red rectangle opened with the message "s power down menu key cancel" + a countdown that ended with the screen turning off (black) but the PC still on.

The menu key cancel that stops the countdown and turns the screen back on in the same state is ultimately made up of 4 keys pressed simultaneously:

SHIFT+CTRL+WIN+B

MS "This key combination records part of the circular log dispdiag and queues the data to be uploaded via telemetry, indicating that the client has a black screen."

Indeed, it wasn't easy to find just by keyboard trials.

      Yes, thank you, this button is interesting because it allows me to set "eye care" at will without waiting for the scheduled night time in Windows.

      (The question was closed without an answer 2 years earlier: what is this infamous menu key requested that interrupts the countdown without deactivating the automatic screen turn-off function).
