Hello
I just got back from vacation and I can no longer access Windows 10 on my laptop
Toshiba satellite
I immediately get the password panel even though I hadn't set one before on this pc
and I accidentally downloaded (while incorrectly installing Malwarebytes) True Key which I cannot uninstall
I try the Microsoft password but it is apparently incorrect
but I can't even start or execute
it only offers to bypass the password with True Key but by reloading this password onto a USB where it is located
I have none of that
how can I open my pc?
thank you

Hi
Do you remember when you installed True Key?
You can try a system restore at startup by pressing the F8 key.

If I had known, I wouldn't have come...!-
The same problem has been solved here -> https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-34432613-true-key#1

Hello,
Yes, you can try F8 ...
Otherwise, you will have the HDD recovery console on the Tosh...
To do this, you hold down the zero key (on the numeric keypad) before turning your PC on, then you press the power button (without releasing the zero key), which should launch the HDD recovery console ...
However, there will be a loss of personal documents.
PS:
This console is not available on certain Toshiba models ...

Hello,
Start by accessing the advanced system recovery options using method 1 from this page: Windows advanced recovery options.
The principle is to restart on the page where it asks you for the password, with the icon at the bottom right, while holding down the shift key.
If you cannot reach the window where Windows asks for passwords, due to a blockage or crash beforehand...
Turn off the computer twice during the Windows loading.
It will enter repair mode which will also grant access to the advanced system recovery options.
(If booting into the advanced recovery options is impossible, you need to create a USB drive to boot from; you have a link on the previous page for that).
From there, you can attempt to perform a system restore, choosing a date when everything was working.
If system restore is not possible, initiate a reset of Windows; applications will be removed but user data will not be affected.
Please press any key to continue the cleaning process...
