Hello, I pressed it for a long time but nothing happens. Thanks anyway, but I think it's out of order.

It is on. But I think I changed the batteries some time ago and I used alkaline batteries of the Duracell type and they were not rechargeable as the manufacturer recommends. So maybe an issue on that side. But the battery change was a few months ago. Yesterday I put in the same type of alkaline batteries, non-rechargeable, but I think the device must have taken a hit, certainly a piece of the grille.

The problem with using batteries instead of rechargeable ones is the risk of the batteries exploding or even causing a fire if the handset is placed on its charger.
What icons are there in the top line of the handset's screen?
Hello,
rechargeable batteries, if that's what the manufacturer calls them (it's a shame) don't exist.
Either they recharge and should be called batteries
or they don't recharge and should be called batteries.
Trying to recharge batteries can lead to nothing but a domestic disaster, like a fire.
It’s high time for the authorities to crack down on these misleading and dangerous names.
Hello.
For me, it’s out of order. The problem comes from the batteries I used, it's my fault.
On Tuesday, I’m going to Orange to return it, but it’s no longer under warranty, it dates back to 2018.
I’m going to buy a new one and when it’s time to change the batteries, I’ll use rechargeable batteries and not regular ones.
Indeed, we may have narrowly avoided disaster, let this be a lesson for me.
Thank you for your advice, I should have read the instructions more carefully.
Best regards.
The screen is stuck on a message.
Anyway, I unplugged it and removed it, and I replaced it with an older one for the time being until I buy a new one.
Thank you for trying to help me.
Best regards
