Installation of Windows 10 on ASUS K73E

Hello,
I usually refurbish my friends' computers (reinstalling, cleaning, etc.).
However, the one I have in my hands right now is causing me a lot of problems...
It’s an ASUS K73E with the BIOS in legacy mode (Aptio Setup Utility 2010). I updated the BIOS from the USB stick.
I’ve spent hours on forums and testing, and nothing works; I can't install Windows 10 on it.
There’s no secure boot option, I can’t disable CSM, nothing.
When I almost succeeded in installing Windows from the USB stick, after formatting I couldn’t get any further as the partitions are in MBR while they need to be in GPT (warning during installation). And on all forums, to access the partition modification, I need to be able to disable secure boot, an option I don’t have.
I’ve already tried to create a MBR bootable USB using Rufus, but that doesn’t work either.
Do you have any idea how to install Win10 with MBR partitions?
I’m really stuck here...
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
go to this page:
https://www.asus.com/fr/SupportOnly/K73E/HelpDesk_Knowledge/
Check the box BIOS/Firmware
Then click on:
[Notebook] Why doesn't [Launch CSM] work in the BIOS configuration menu?
You will get information about the fact that the Launch CSM option is unavailable for Intel CoffeeLake processors
This might explain it...
Bye

Good evening,
Thank you for your quick response.
If I understand correctly, Windows 10 is not compatible for installation via USB stick?
Could you tell me if an installation with Windows 7 will work?
Thank you in advance and have a great evening.

Hello
Apparently, this PC doesn't have drivers for Win10
It does have drivers for Win7 (which is no longer supported > no more security updates for Win7...) >>> So, in theory, it could work with Win7 by creating a USB stick with the Win7 iso
That said, after the installation, updates will need to be executed and that's not guaranteed because I don't know if Microsoft still releases these updates...
What version of Windows did it originally have? (Is there still a label with the 25-character alphanumeric key on the back of the device?)
