Hello,

I received a message on my OfficeJet Pro 9010 series printer saying "replace the cartridges". I proceeded to replace them, and then I got the message "incompatible cartridges" even though I am signed up for the "Instant Ink" program.

I restarted the printer and the carriage is stuck behind the front cover! Is there a solution to unlock the carriage?

Thank you.

Sincerely,

So it’s done, I got it in French

But I haven't found the solution! There's no paper jam, everything has been checked!

I think a cartridge has come loose and is blocking the carriage! It should be possible to totally disengage it

    Hello ....

Personally, I don't know this printer... but from what you describe, it could be that you are not using the right cartridges... (subject to confirmation of course... despite the fact that you are enrolled in the HP Instant Ink program... delivery error or something else???).

HP Support ► This link ► Troubleshooting section ► Select a section ► Ink cartridges .....► Incompatible cartridge error...

Do you currently have the ability to remove the cartridges to check their references?

If the carriage is stuck ► Watch this video  (if it is a paper jam or something else...)

Talk to you later ... step by step to try to find the solution

    Best regards

    Hello

No, it's not a paper jam; we can clearly see a dislodged cartridge.

The printer is just a few months out of warranty! HP therefore refuses to cover it even though this is the second one with the same issue!

I absolutely need to get this carriage unstuck.

    Thank you

      Hello ....

Your issue is a bit tricky to solve if a cartridge is improperly fitted and is blocking the carriage ... forcing it a bit might cause more damage or perhaps just reposition the cartridge .... but there's a one in two chance ....

Unplug everything ► Shake the carriage a bit if accessible .....

You might want to check around you for a computer technician who could fix the problem

Sorry but it's a bit complicated to manage from a distance

      Regards ► A+
