Unable to "remove" my messages on Messenger

Hello,

I'm trying to delete my sent messages on Messenger for both people. I think the person has completely deleted our conversation, and as a result, I can delete the messages sent after that, but I can no longer delete the older ones.

Very strangely, it works when I put our discussion in archives! And for all the messages???

I can otherwise delete their messages, mine but just for me when it is deactivated. Do you think it's because they deleted our conversation..

I can't find any answer, thank you

I got the answer by testing it with someone. It's true that when someone has deleted your conversation, they have already deleted everything on their end, so on our side, we can only delete it for ourselves.

    Hello

You can't delete messages that aren't yours, you can only delete the messages you authored..,,

    2. Type the name of a contact, then select it.
    3. Type your message in the text box below.

We are talking about deleting, not about sending... ;)

And the person wants to delete from both sides
