Messenger: unread message on Facebook, not on Messenger.

Hello everyone,

For the past two days, when I open Facebook on my phone, the message icon indicates an unread message (a little 1). When I click on it, there are no messages.

The Messenger icon on the phone doesn't indicate any messages either.

On the PC, no message notification either (not even on Facebook). So it must be coming from the phone.

I cleared the cache, uninstalled the app, and reinstalled it (by the way, it no longer wants to install in French, and I have to install it in English! Great!!! Grrrr).

I checked the groups, archived conversations, spam, message invitations, and tags on my wall, and I haven't seen anything unusual at all.

This is soooooo annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have a genius idea?
