HP Chevron Key Issue

Hello,
Despite extensive searches on the internet and some troubleshooting (including a reset), I’m turning here for help.
I am completely unable to use the chevron key (which is normally dedicated to it) on my keyboard (see photo), and it is instead recognized as a "ctrl" key. I have been unable to remap the keys, and shortcuts are not working either.
Do you have any idea what I could do?
Thank you.

Hello,
This is the normal location of the Ctrl key on an AZERTY keyboard, unless there is a Windows language variant (other than French-France or of the keyboard's "nationality") that I might have missed.
It does indeed seem to be a Mac OS keyboard, which could be the source of the problem if the OS is Windows.

Hello,
Try updating the keyboard driver.
Go through the Device Manager that you will find by right-clicking on the Start button. Then expand Keyboards and right-click on the keyboard in use.
What is well conceived is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.
