Problem with my Tap'Touche software because Flash player is outdated.

Hello,

Best wishes for the 21st.

My problem is with Flash. I know it will be discontinued and not updated. However, I have my Tap'Touche software that needs it.
1- The problem, I have 3 PCs where Tap'Touche is installed, between Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 they all showed the same "Flash" message when I opened my software photo1.
2- When I do my exercise it freezes Image 2, it is supposed to display a report but it stays frozen and the exercise duration (bottom right photo 2) remains stuck

What I did out of an abundance of caution:
1- Uninstalled / Reinstalled Flashplayer. No result
2- Uninstalled / Reinstalled the software. No result

What is strange is that the 3 PCs running on Win 10 all had the same problem on the same day, it seems like there was a deadline.

Thank you for your contributions

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 87.0.4280.101

    Hello,

YouTube, which was on Flash Player, was one of the first to switch to HTML.
It's a bit like the story of websites moving from HTTP to HTTPS.

    Flash games.
For some old Flash games, an option, especially for players, is to download and use BlueMaxima's Flashpoint software.

    Project Ruffle (Flash emulator).
This project is a Flash player and a web archiving project combined into one.
Feeling nostalgic for Flash games and animations? The Internet Archive is saving them before Flash is gone
The current version of Ruffle does not fully emulate Flash, which means you will encounter Flash content that you cannot play with the current versions of the emulator. Ruffle will let you know, but there is nothing you can do except wait for the developers to further improve the emulator.
Still, some Flash content is already being played using Ruffle.

    A+

I contacted the publisher and got the nice reply: we are working on the issue.
I'm browsing the forum for now while waiting for a miracle :)))
Thanks to you pistou, your company has been helpful in getting me out of my rut :))))

What’s weird is this strange cold snap on Flash. :)
Check with the editor of this software to see how he plans to do without this outdated plugin.

    Hello everyone

Indeed, I just saw on Adobe's website, after a lot of head scratching, that Flash has not only been executed but also dissolved in acid; there are no more downloads on the publisher's site, as well as for all previous versions. It's more than weird.
That updates are no longer made is fine, that its use puts us at risk, we're warned and we're of age and vaccinated.
The problem is that Adobe decided to screw over all the applications that trusted it.
In other words, should we trust Adobe products, because if they can stop one of their products overnight, what will happen to the work done with their tools? The question arises.

Let's look at Windows; all versions, even if they are not updated and pose a security risk to their users, continue to function.

So, a call-out: does anyone happen to have an offline version of Flash, or is there a site that offers it, because in addition to this surprise, Adobe has added another one: all previous versions are inaccessible. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

In the meantime, thank you, Pistouri; I'm going to take a good look at the links.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thank you for your contributions.
Another question, how is Flash being blocked, please?
Is it Windows 10 that implements the block, or is it Flash that does it?
    - If it's Windows, do you know the program or the update responsible for the deadline?
    - If it's Flash, I have the impression that the deadline has been injected a long time ago in the earlier versions, because I got my hands on a version of Flash from May 2020, I uninstalled Flash on the PC with Revo (to remove everything) and I reinstalled the May 20 version and still the same problem :(( Grrrrrrr.
So does anyone have information, please, on the procedure of the deadline and who is responsible for it?

Thanks in advance to the contributors :):)

    Hello DR Zero,

Is it Win10 that is blocking, or is it Flash doing it?

Windows 10: Microsoft will release an update to remove Adobe Flash Player.
It will be removed from Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer which are the default browsers on W10, Edge being Microsoft's favored one that they try to set as default by all means; fortunately, this can be changed in W10 Settings.

The update does not remove all versions of Flash.

As for other installed browsers, a future update will reset everything, meaning that Flash Player will no longer be in the browser’s plugins.
This is already the case with Google Chrome 88.

I got my hands on a version of Flash from May 2020 and reinstalled the May 20 version and still the same problem

    It's useless.

In summary, the best thing to do is to use the uninstallation tool Uninstall_flash
Procedure to follow in the CCM practical guide.

    See you!

    Hello again

    :)) :))))) :))))))

Sorry dear pistouri, when I read you I feel like my problem is not clear and therefore my question is also:))))
My problem has nothing to do with browsing, and so I'm not asking any questions about browsers.
Here it is. Four years ago, I installed a software that uses Flash, it's called Tap'Touche (for mastering the keyboard), I don't think it relies on Edge or any other browser, but it uses Flash installed on the PC.
So, I thought in a little corner of my mind, if I install an older version, since it worked well with it. Everything will be fine. But it’s not with the May 2020 version that’s why I’m asking:

How is Flash Player being blocked?
By what miracle, when I haven’t updated anything during January, does my Quick software stop on January 12th?

    Thaaaank youuuuuu!

Some software uses Flash, which is also the case for some printer scanners.

Wait for an update of your software if the publisher offers one.
Or you can contact the publisher in this case.
The miracle will undoubtedly come through this route.

Browsers or software that use Flash have been out since January 12, 2020.

I hope that's clear for you.

    See you!

I received a nice response: we're working on the problem.

It's better than nothing as a response; some wouldn't have even bothered to reply, and it's not new that the end of Flash has been announced for quite some time.

There's nothing we can do if you're "devouring" the forum; it's still up to the publisher to find a solution or to work around it, as they did for HP printer scanners.

All you can do now is light a candle and wait for a miracle!

--►your company has been helpful in pulling me out of my turpitude
    From the Latin turpitudo.
There's no shame to be reproached.

More seriously, I hope your software finds a favorable outcome as soon as possible.
I assume you've already done some research on getting an equivalent software as a backup in the meantime.

    See you later

Certain software still allows you to view Flash sources either as an add-on like Ruffle, or as a browser like Maxthon5. If this can help, have a good day.
