Screen resolution

Hello
The hinge on my MSI Modern 15 A10M laptop broke after two years (one month after the warranty) 900€ down the drain!! I tried to fix it myself and now there's no screen on the laptop..
I went all out because I wasn't going to pay a lot to repair a poorly designed computer that would probably break again later
To get by quickly, I bought an HP M24f FHD screen which seems much less sharp even at the recommended 1920x1080 resolution; I downloaded the driver but it's really frustrating compared to the laptop
So my question is:
Are laptop screens, which are much smaller at 1920x1080, therefore much finer in display and is that normal, I think?
Or could it be my Intel UHD Graphics chip that is too weak?
To have the same display sharpness with a 24-inch screen as a laptop, do I need a screen with 3840 x 2160?
If I buy a tower with a real graphics card, will I have better sharpness?
Regarding laptop hinges, this isn't the first time one has broken; it's outrageous that after spending 900 euros, it ends up in the trash after two years, but MSI is apparently known for its terrible hinges
For me, MSI is never again!!!
What do you recommend? And what do you think?
Thanks for the replies

Hello,
What is mistakenly called resolution is actually the definition:
number of pixels in height (nh) x number of pixels in width (nl)
Resolution is this definition related to the unit of measurement of a screen h x l, most often expressed in inches:
R= nh/h or nl/l
Mathematically, if nh and nl are fixed, resolution will be greater the smaller h or l are.
The moral is, to obtain the same definition on a larger screen, one must choose a higher definition. -
Thank you for the response ..
Now I have a new question: how to choose a laptop with a hinge that lasts over time?
Are models with long hinges instead of two small ones on each side really more durable?
Regarding the Huawei Matebook D16 2022
on this site:
https://www.clubic.com/pro/entreprises/huawei/test-produit-430047-huawei-matebook-d16-2022-un-pc-portable-efficace-pour-la-rentree.html
the photo shows a system of screws that is pretty much identical to what I had, 3 or 4 small screws on each side screwed into threads integrated into the plastic that eventually break :-(
That's what happened to me every time, yet I am very careful..
I have had this problem at least twice with laptops ..
Thank you in advance for the responses
