    The anomaly in this tracking is that the package was indicated as having cleared Customs and was injected into the postal network, then suddenly it is 'held' by Customs when it should be on its way to the recipient. There is a contradiction that cannot be explained.

    What is in this shipment coming from China? Approximate value?

    please check your invoice to see if VAT has been properly charged.

    If not, it is very likely that they shipped the package declaring a ridiculous value (less than $10) in an attempt to get through customs without VAT. However, if the declared value on the package is not the approximate actual value, customs may hold the package while ensuring that VAT has been paid (which is never the case when the declared value is false). Otherwise, be prepared to pay VAT upon receipt.

    As a side note, an order placed with Lenovo from China was held in customs for about 15 days even though the package had the correct declared value and VAT was properly paid at the time of purchase. I can only imagine that in the case of fraud, one must be patient.

      Hello, and thank you for your response. I paid the initial price plus the shipping fees since I chose express delivery, which totaled 470.73 euros.

      I don't think I paid VAT or anything else, just the initial price and the shipping fees.

      But the anomaly could mean many things, such as if it was counterfeit or goods not meeting European standards.

      Finally, I'm trying to understand, but I'm struggling, and it's impossible to communicate with the carrier of the goods, which is 4PX, who are unreachable.

      And the seller hasn't responded to me for 2 days now, even though I've left several messages.

      But now, since it's stuck in customs, what does that really mean with the reason: Anomaly!

      The customs have a threshold below which there are no duties to pay (150 euros if I remember correctly...) except for VAT. Above that, the seller must declare the value of the goods (invoice to be included with the shipment)...
      If this is not the case, customs will request the document from the seller... and if the seller does not respond... it drags on...
      This is if it is not counterfeit or prohibited for importation (license).
