Package stuck at "Your package has been dropped off at a postal point"

Hello, I ordered computer parts from a private seller on Leboncoin and the package has been stuck on "Your package has been dropped off at a postal point" since January 12th. I called La Poste's customer service and they told me that only the sender can make a claim, so I contacted the sender and he called La Poste to open an investigation on Monday which was supposed to last 48 hours. I called them today and the investigation is still not finished. I would like to know if there is another solution or if this has happened to someone else.

It smells like a possible scam.
Did you contact La Poste by your own means (search for their number) or did the seller give you a number to call?
Do you have a tracking number, did you check on the laposte website?
How did you pay the seller?
Basically, the payment system on leboncoin holds the money until the buyer confirms receipt, and then the money is transferred to the seller.
But without confirmation of receipt, after a certain period, the money is still sent to the seller if there is no feedback.
Excerpt:
The buyer has not confirmed the receipt of the product
After you have sent your package, the buyer has 14 days from the payment date to confirm receipt. After this period, the payment is automatically released. Allow 6 additional days to receive it in your bank account.
So some scammers set up scams, dragging things out until the payment is made.
(fake product, fake package, fake tracking, hence the questions)
