No signal for EUTELSAT Satellite at 5° West

Hello,

I can no longer get a signal with the EUTELSAT satellite at 5° West on my motorhome / I have never had a problem since 2007

Here is my equipment:

1 Manual ALDEN Satellite Antenna Model Satling 65

1 FRANSAT DSF 300 HD Decoder

1 FRANSAT card valid until August 5, 2024

If someone can help me, that would be GREAT

Hello Simon,

For the orientation of the parabola, refer to this site:

-Enter your complete address on the left
-Select 5° West (Eutelsat 5) from the list on the right
-Click on "Search!" next to your address,
-Zoom in on the map using the + button to clearly identify your house
-Place the target at the location of your parabola by clicking and dragging, and use a landmark (tree, house) to orient yourself, both in direction and elevation.
At the bottom right of the map, you have the elevation, azimuth, and the rotation direction in degrees of the head in its bracket (cross-polarization adjustment), last line "LNB Skew" is very important.
Also use the bar graphs on the decoder by communicating with someone in front of the screen over the phone to fine-tune the adjustment that should generally be done with a satellite pointer.
