Hello, I'm with Free and going camping soon. It was so obvious that I didn't check it, but if it still exists: I'm going to a campsite with paid Wifi. I thought I'd look into it a bit to avoid being spied on and to not pay a fortune (75€ for the week: true story). So I'm looking for some help, like is it possible if I click on this button (NO, not that one, the other one!!). Info: Free/freemobile/Windows 10 PC/iPhone
- going through the phone: concretely, how do I do it?
- getting a Free network on the PC: yes, where and how?
And bonus question: a vacationer mentioned that his wifi was 'absent' while he was at the campsite and not when he was out. Can I find out if a jammer is being used? Because I wouldn't let them get away with that... Don't take my internet away like that!
Thanks everyone

Hello,
I recently used this solution while camping with my phone and my Free mobile subscription (not the €2 one, which doesn’t have data). First, of course, the phone must have a signal from the Free mobile network. Then, on the phone, you need to enable data and create a Wi-Fi hotspot. I don't know how to do it on an iPhone; I did it on Android. Once the Wi-Fi hotspot is activated, you can find the Wi-Fi network created by the phone on the PC, and you just need to connect to it, just like you would connect to the Wi-Fi at home.
After that, you have internet access on the PC. I was also watching television using the CapTvTy app (it doesn’t have all the channels but about 2/3 of the 25 TNT channels).
You can test it right now.
What about a jammer at the campsite? No idea.

Thank you very much, I will test it tomorrow on my son's Android. It's not so much for the channels, it's more for my side job... Although considering the storms around here, a good movie in a mobile home for a kid, works! Thanks again!
P.S. It's nice: a stranger is a friend we haven't met yet.- On iPhone, it's also possible: https://www.techadvisor.fr/tutoriel/telephones/transformer-un-iphone-en-borne-wi-fi-3660031/

Mobile TV is bad!!
It's already bad in general.
When I think that they're deploying 5G networks just for people to watch TV, mobile operators should have let the TV channels take over 5G and use it for VOD.
But it's clear they don't have the means, between the rights to producers and the financing of a network, they are hardly more profitable than a 4x5 advertising panel in the middle of Beauce.
There are concerns about this system, unless they sell subscriptions for €50 a month.

Hello,
I don't believe at all in wifi interference. But if by chance it existed, you can use your smartphone as a USB modem.
It's easy on Android: it's in Connections => Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
It should also be possible on iPhone.
The idea is to replace the wifi with a USB cable. The downside is that only one person can benefit from the connection.

What is well understood is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.

Thank you for all this information, but there's one downside: I can receive my emails, but I can't send any.
Any ideas?
Thanks everyone and have a great summer.
Best regards,
