Vintage poster project illustrator

Hello,

I would like to create a vintage poster (image) from a photo using Illustrator, but as a beginner in this area, I'm asking for your help if anyone knows a tutorial for this kind of project, I would be grateful =)

    For me, it's creation... and personally, I would look for which filter I could use to achieve a simplification effect...
    Look at what's available in Photoshop or other similar "posterization" filters.

    Thank you for your response, I indeed looked in Illustrator at the different filters but without much result =(

    Since your source is an image, you should look at the available filters in an image editing software..
    Then you can vectorize the result and continue your modifications in Illustrator..

    You can find several free tutorials on Google to learn the basics. This will help you a lot.
