    Hello,

Impossible. You need to file a complaint if you want to have any chance.

And assuming you locate the IP of the connection, what will you do? Go to that address? What will you do if you find a family of 5 people, will you accuse their children? Their parents?
And if you find a dangerous individual, do you want to risk your life for a Snap account?
By the way, how can you be sure that this IP belongs to the author of the hacking? Maybe they managed to use a neighbor's connection, a public wifi from McDonald's, their phone connection, or a VPN.

In short, forget the idea of locating an IP yourself, it's not possible and it won't lead to anything useful.

    Hello,

You can't, at best, you have a vague geographical location.

Only law enforcement can obtain someone's identity with their IP.

Hello, this site currently locates me in Paris. I am in Strasbourg without a VPN.
In any case, it usually relies on an approximation, using IP databases like those maintained by MaxMind. There is no chance it will pinpoint the target's home; at best, it will land on a street or a neighborhood... provided the database is up to date.

It will provide a location for the distributor, or it's connected to hundreds, if not thousands of people.

And this site is off, it locates me hundreds of kilometers away from home.

      This one seems more relevant:

Heu no, I'm in Brittany and your site above locates me in the Pyrenees!

One more argument about the issues of IP localization. ;-)

    Hi,
To triangulate (locate) an IP address, special software is required that is not available for legal commercial use.
The police and intelligence services have access to it.
There are also some hackers who use this type of equipment.

      Nonsense.

The police do not need to triangulate anything. They just make a request to the service provider who will give the name of the client and their address.
