My PC, HP EliteOne 800 G6 - Windows 10 Pro - Version 21H2 is causing me a lot of trouble.
I already sent a message some time ago because in my taskbar, when I want to switch apps, the hourglass keeps spinning and slows down the whole system. I thought ONEDRIVE was the source of this problem, but that's not the case.
Aside from this issue, I find that my computer is getting very slow.
I have BITDEFENDER TOTAL SECURITY which isn't reporting anything unusual.
Could you please help me as I am a bit of a novice in this area?

I am going to uninstall BITDEFENDER and MALWARE that I downloaded yesterday.
As for the restrictions and group policies, I didn't configure them and I would appreciate your help in removing them.

After checking, your current PC is different from the one in the first post from January. Normally, given your processor, this new PC is compatible with Windows 11; you can check if it is indeed compatible with this software
If it is compatible, Windows 11 should normally be offered to you for free in Windows Update.
For group policies, restrictions, and obsolete processes, follow these steps:
Procedure to be done in the specified order:
1- Open FRST as an administrator; to do this, right-click on FRST and choose run as administrator
2 - Copy the entire script from the box below:
3- Once the script is copied, click on Fix; FRST will automatically take the script from the clipboard.
Let the correction process take place; once it is done, you will be asked to restart your PC, do it as soon as you are prompted, see below.
Then, once your computer has restarted:
4- You will have a Fixlog file on your desktop; then send these reports to https://www.cjoint.com/ see this tutorial then provide the link generated by Cjoint in your next message.

For Windows 11, it’s up to you, Windows 10 will still be updated until 2025, which gives you time to think. For my part, I switched to Windows 11 when it was released, and I think it’s very good.
For your wife, test her hard drive with CrystalDiskInfo and give the FRST reports, I’ll take a look at that in the afternoon or evening.

FOR INFORMATION:
Your version of Windows 10 is not up to date, to check it go to this page click on Update now, this will start the download of the Microsoft tool, just open it and it will allow you to update Windows 10 to the latest version and will tell you if it is compatible with your PC, be careful this update takes some time, since you have a laptop, plug it into the power, as it would be a shame to run out of battery before the update is finished.

I subscribed to DROPBOX, but that's over now, so we can remove it.

There are many extensions in Google Chrome which slow it down; I'm not sure all extensions are really useful, sort through them and remove the ones you don't need https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/2589434

Download FRST, once downloaded save it to the desktop then right-click on FRST and choose Run as administrator you will see this:
Click on Scan
At the end of the scan you will have two text files on the desktop FRST and Addition
Then send the FRST and ADDITION reports to CJOINT see THIS TUTORIAL then provide the two links generated by Cjoint in your response.

The response is the same as last time; it's possible that Bitdefender is slowing down your PC. Since last time, you added Malwarebytes, which is a bit too much; Windows Defender, the antivirus included in Windows 10, is more than sufficient.
Your PC is not infected; there are just a few group policies and restrictions, including on browsers and some outdated processes, but no infectious processes.
If you did not set up the restrictions and group policies and wish to remove them,
let me know.
